Courtney ran in the Soldier Field 10 Mile race today. She did such a great job. It was a perfect day for a race and it was fun to watch her boys cheering for her.

Mike's friend Joey married Poushali on May 22nd in Texas. When they returned to Chicago, we were invited to his parents' house to help welcome Poushali to the family.

Adeline and I don't have Indian outfits...yet!

a day with gramma & poppa

Mike was asked to work today, so Adeline spent the day with Poppa and Gramma. This is how our baby looks at 7am (two hours before her normal wake up time) when we get her ready for the day.

Such a happy girl.

It was super hot out, so Poppa constructed this contraption so that Adeline could play outside in the shade while Gramma did some yard work.

We started with a visit to Mor Mor's.

I wanted to put Adeline in this "1/2" shirt that I originally bought for Grayden when he was a little guy. She looked so much like a boy that we had to add the green bow to make her look more girlie.

...and then took a little snooze herself!

We finished off the weekend with a nice bath. Olivia gave Adeline this hippo towel before Adeline was born. She was excited to be able to use it tonight.

hanging out with special friends

This week Adeline finally got to meet Brittany and Erik. We are so glad that we were able to spend time with them when they came to Chicago. We are looking forward to visiting them again in Alaska.

We went to a place in Wrigleyville called Lucky's Sandwich. The sandwiches were really good, but the place was actually a bar. They didn't seem to mind having these two babies there.
