funny girl

We went to the Children's Place and Mike wanted to take Adeline's picture in these wigs off the mannequins. We tried to be really discrete.

swim meet

Adeline went to her Uncle Steven's City Finals swim meet. This was her third swim meet. She did great despite the meet being VERY long, hot and loud. We had to strip her down to her onesie.

I love the rosy cheeks.

After the meet most of the Rummelhoff's came back to the house to celebrate Lane's first place finish with some Lou Malnati's pizza...and some pictures of Adeline in her cute Valentine's dress from Auntie Courtney.

back to work

I went back to work on Monday, January 25th. I wasn't very excited about it, but it ended up being a lot better than I thought it would be. It makes it a lot easier knowing that my baby is at home with her Daddy...but the days are long and I can't wait to get home in the evenings.
This is us the night before the big day.

Adeline wasn't happy about Mommy going to work.

We survived!

aquarium

We took Adeline on a "field trip" to the Living Seas Aquarium. She enjoys watching the fish. It was a good introduction for her. One of these days we'll take the big step up to the Shedd.

shower time

Adeline started taking showers with her Daddy. She loves it. We can't wait to take her swimming.

aunts, uncles, and cousins

Leah loves to come downstairs to hold Adeline.

Adeline loves Kendell. This was for Luau night at powerhouse (our youth group).

Adeline took yet another road trip. One final trip before Mommy had to go back to work. This time we went to visit Uncle David and Aunt Emily in Cincinnati. Sadly, this is the only photo we took. Once again, Adeline was a great traveler.

ten weeks old

Love those green pjs from the Condap girls.

Big girl sitting in her Bumbo chair.

Smiles.

Sorry this picture is sideways.
This is for the Condap girls. Adeline wore the "Tiniest Dog" outfit today. She loved it.

This one's for abbie. This is Adeline's first "toy." She is learning to grab things and she likes to grab this little taggie blanket that abbie made for her. Thanks abbie.

As you can see, she managed to move the blankie up over her face.

adeline's sled

Gramma and Poppa gave Adeline a sled for Christmas.
She went for her first ride and liked it so much that she fell right to sleep.

2010, road trip & two months old

Abbie and Chris gave Adeline these leg warmers for Christmas. Apparently leg warmers are really popular in Japan. I wasn't quite sure how Adeline was supposed to wear them, but this is the outfit that I came up with. I thought she looked pretty cute in them. Like a ballerina.

Abbie and Chris came over on New Year's Eve and got to see Adeline in her leg warmers. She had lost her pants at this point, so we had the leg warmers pulled up a little higher. It was such a great treat to be able to see Abbie and Chris for Christmas this year. I'm so glad they were able to meet our girl.

On New Years Day we left on a road trip to Atlanta for the Passion conference with a group of college students from church. Adeline was a great traveler. It's crazy that she's two months old and has already traveled to more states than some people do in their whole lives.

Two months old on January 2, 2010.

Helping Daddy drive.

We went to the World of Coca-Cola today. Adeline was getting hungry, so we thought a 12 minute long movie would be a great place to feed her. The problem was, it was a 4D movie, meaning that it was 3D and then it had the added feature of moving seats, pokes in the back, etc. Adeline didn't think it was a great idea. The seats really shook a lot...and it was pretty loud. She and I had to walk out the Emergency Exit. Oh well. The rest of the place was pretty neat. We got to sample Coca-Cola products from all over the world. Some very interesting ones, that's for sure. Here are a few pictures from our time there.
In front of the 4D movie poster.

How cute am I?

Little baby on a big Coca-Cola couch.

Family photo with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear. This may look like a statue, but it was actually a "live" character. It could even blink its eyes and open and close its mouth. Kind of creepy, but fun to have our picture with him.
