another great sunday

Another adorable outfit of the Condap girls. I was really excited this morning when I realized it was cool enough outside for Adeline to wear long sleeves and tights. I wanted to try to get this outfit in before it gets too warm. Also, notice how Adeline is showing off her new sitting skills.

This sweater was Tammy's when she was a baby. We aren't sure who made it, but we're saying that Aunt Gail did (unless someone cares to dispute that). Olivia wore it when she was a baby too.

new stroller

Adeline's new stroller came yesterday. We were so excited to put it together and put it to use. Thank you Gramma and Nana!

Adeline likes to play with anything that isn't a toy. She was throughly entertained by this m&m's bag for probably half an hour. She liked it so much that I put it back in her diaper bag as a "toy." Sadly, I think Mike threw it away.

Today we tried out the new stroller. It must be really comfy, because Adeline went right to sleep.

first owie

Adeline's been practicing sitting on her own, but today she got her first injury. I put her down on the floor while I went to the bathroom. She reached for something and fell head first on the tile. I couldn't catch her in time. She cried for a little while and I felt really bad. She had a nice red mark to show for it. Thankfully, the mark was gone by the next morning.

for kira

This was Kira's dress. I remember she took portraits in it when she came to Chicago as a baby.

Adeline likes to chew on EVERYTHING! I thought it was so funny how she had the sock just hanging out of her mouth as she reached for her giraffe toy. She is such a funny girl. She is constantly making me smile.

a day with the stroms

Mike was doing some work out in Glenview, so Courtney was nice enough to let Adeline spend the day with them. Looks like they had lots of fun.

sleeping in her crib

Since she was born, Adeline has been sleeping in bed with us at night. It was just easier that way and I loved having her right next to me. After we came home from Florida, we decided it was time to put her to sleep in her crib at night. She did really great sleeping in her crib that first week. I think it was harder on me than it was on her. Some nights she slept for 10 hours straight. We're still working on it though. It seems like the days that I'm most tired are the days that she gets up two or three times in the night. You can pray for us in this area. We all need our sleep. But doesn't she look so cute sleeping in her crib? Her quilt is the one that abbie made for her and sent over from Japan. Thanks abbie!

easter

Our friend Benjamin really loves Adeline.

The Rummelhoff clan.

Looking pretty in her Easter dress. Tammy gave Adeline this dress when she was born. I was so glad that she could wear it as her first Easter dress.

Adeline and her oldest Rummelhoff cousin Morgan.

easter egg hunt

Our church had its annual Easter Egg Hunt. It was fun to participate with my own child this year. She picked up a few eggs, but I was really only looking for eggs with chocolate in them!

five months old

It's hard to believe our baby is five months old already. She is so much fun. She is working on sitting up by herself, but still doesn't care about rolling over. We haven't started her on solid foods yet...but we can tell she is looking forward to eating by the way she watches when we have food. She likes playing with her toys, but a cardboard box, newspaper, or the mail is often just as entertaining for her.
