Michael's brother Paul and his sister Amanda were in the Chicago Triathalon today. We went down to the lakefront to cheer them on. It was such a hot day. They both finished despite the terrible heat. I was so proud of them, especially Amanda. I teared up when I saw her running towards the finish line. Great job Amanda and Paul!

Adeline, Allie & Karalee
Neil & Erika were in town, so Adeline got to hang out with her "twin." Karalee was born on November 2nd as well, about 14 hours earlier than Adeline.

At the Powerhouse End of Summer BBQ, Adeline was "surfing" on Ben's skateboard. She loved it. If you zoom in on this picture you can see her tooth.

We are so happy that Allie and the rest of her family are home from Swaziland. Now Adeline always wants to climb up the stairs to see them.

Nanny Olivia came over to spend the day (and the night) with us. She gave Adeline a ride in the laundry basket. Such a good Nanny!

Colby came to town today, so my parents took us out for dinner.

And then we stopped at Mario's for Italian ice. Adeline had her first taste of Mario's. She loved it, of course, but I think at one point she had a brain freeze. Ouch!

She is a master at climbing the stairs and cruising.
