We started with a visit to Mor Mor's.

I wanted to put Adeline in this "1/2" shirt that I originally bought for Grayden when he was a little guy. She looked so much like a boy that we had to add the green bow to make her look more girlie.

We finished off the weekend with a nice bath. Olivia gave Adeline this hippo towel before Adeline was born. She was excited to be able to use it tonight.

hanging out with special friends

This week Adeline finally got to meet Brittany and Erik. We are so glad that we were able to spend time with them when they came to Chicago. We are looking forward to visiting them again in Alaska.

We went to a place in Wrigleyville called Lucky's Sandwich. The sandwiches were really good, but the place was actually a bar. They didn't seem to mind having these two babies there.

my first mother's day

Me and my girl. Adeline's best present to me was the huge smile she gave me when she woke up in the morning. I love this little girl so much and I am so happy to be her mommy.

it's a small world

This is me and my friend Jill Mahoney. We were best friends in elementary school until her family moved to Lake Zurich. We haven't seen each other since high school. Then I found out that my college friend, Shelly, knows Jill because their boys went to preschool together. I went out to visit Shelly and got to have a reunion with Jill. It was so great to see her and to meet her husband and her three boys. Crazy how people are connected!
