My parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary by taking the whole family to Destin, Florida for a week. It was wonderful.

The Stroms gave Adeline this pinwheel for Easter. She loved watching it and the bigger kids loved making it spin for her.

On one of the chillier days, we took a trip to the Eglin Air Force Museum (my dad's choice of course).

I think it's funny that Adeline is wearing a wool hat and sweater in one picture and then sun hat and bathing suit in the next...but that really is how the weather was.

First time in a pool. The water was like bath water, so it was perfect for her. She loved it. She didn't even cry when Daddy let her go under the water.

We went to the community park and Adeline went in a swing for the first time. She was smiling and laughing so much.

botanic gardens and wolves game

Another Friday off. This time I picked up Olivia and we joined Courtney and the boys on a trip to the Botanic Gardens. It was a lot of fun. We explored places we've never been before. We tried to pass Adeline and Emmett off as twins.

In the evening, powerhouse and jam went to a Chicago Wolves hockey game. We thought about leaving Adeline at home, but ended up bringing her along. She did great.

We happened to run into Skates in the hall while trying to find a good place for a diaper change. We had to get Adeline's picture with him.

At the next intermission, Skates recognized Adeline in the crowd and threw a t-shirt to her. I think her Daddy will have to wear it until she grows into it.

powerhouse academy awards

Tonight was "Powerhouse Academy Awards" so the girls got all dressed up and ready for the red carpet. Adeline got in on the act by wearing her super fancy "cupcake" dress.

These are my high school small group girls...Diana, Elyse, Kendell and Jaime.

four months old

Our girl is four months old. Her newest trick is to put all her toys in her mouth. It's hard to believe it's already been four months, but at the same time it's hard to remember life without her. We love you sweet little girl. You bring us so much joy.

winterfest

Yet another road trip for this little girl. This time we headed up to White Lake, WI for our high school retreat. This was Adeline's first winterfest and her mama's 18th.
