a great day

We went to Brixton's race at Schiller Park today. Adeline was able to wear her new pumpkin hat.
This last picture cracks me up. What a funny face!

Two cuties!

Esther and Anna came to Chicago today! We were so happy to see them. It was fun for them to meet Adeline. I was glad that Anna remembered me and that she wanted to play with Adeline.

an apron for a dress

Adeline loves to pull everything out of our kitchen drawers. She found my apron tonight and, since she was only wearing her diaper at the time, we fashioned it into a dress for her. Fancy, huh?

meltdown

Adeline had a breakdown today while eating. Am I a bad mother for laughing at her and running to get the camera? She's so dramatic.

the beach in october

On our way home from fall retreat we stopped by the Indiana Dunes State Park. It was such a beautiful day. The kids played in the sand and the water and had so much fun. I'm pretty sure this was Adeline's first time in Lake Michigan. She enjoyed eating the sand.
